Barjor M. Dastur is the Vice President of Global Benchmarking Services at Phillip Townsend Associates. Barjor is located in the Houston office of Phillip Townsend Associates and is responsible for worldwide industry benchmarking programs.

Barjor has been with Phillip Townsend Associates since 1992 and has been involved with benchmarking programs since 1994. Mr. Dastur was in the automotive group at Phillip Townsend Associates where he co-authored several studies on inter-material competition before moving to the benchmarking group.

Barjor has been involved with all the different aspects of running benchmarking programs during his 10 years in the benchmarking group. Currently he spends his time on business development, new program design, delivering and analyzing results to companies on a global basis and interacting with customers to better understand their needs. Mr. Dastur travels significantly in his current job to different parts of the world.

An aspect of the job that makes the current position very interesting and challenging for Barjor is his involvement across all the 35 different benchmarking programs carried out by Phillip Townsend Associates. This ensures a continuous learning experience for him and also assists him in his business development activities.

Mr. Dastur has a Bachelors Degree in Production Engineering from V.J.T.I. in Bombay and a M.B.A. Degree from Rice University in Houston , TX . Prior to joining Phillip Townsend Associates, Barjor worked for an industrial equipment company.
