Brian Burgio
Business Director

Brian Burgio is the Business Director for the Global Aromatics Benchmarking Program at Phillip Townsend Associates. He also manages the BPA benchmark and other special projects. He is located in the Houston office.

Mr. Burgio has over 27 years experience in the Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Plastics and Refining Industries. He has held assignments in plant operations, corporate engineering and Professional Services consulting. Some of the companies he has worked for include Rhone Poulenc, GE Plastics, Saudi Aramco and Aspen Technology. Mr. Burgio has also done numerous consulting projects for many of the top Refining and Chemical companies in the world. Prior to joining PTAI, he was the Director, Professional Services for Aspen Tech's North America and Latin America Simulation and Optimization Group.

Mr. Burgio has a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He has a Masters degree in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee and an MBA degree from Vanderbilt University.
